Rocket Pops

These are a nice cool treat for those hot, sunny days.

Prep Time: 30 Min... not really sure on this... I tried it the way the recipe says and well I'll get into more detail about it all of it.
Total Time: 7hrs 30minutes
Makes: 16 servings one pop each

1pkg Jell-O Brand Cherry Flavor Gelatin
1pkg Jell-O Brand Berry Blue Flavor Gelatin
1tub 8oz Cool Whip topping

1cup sugar divided
2cups boiling water divided
2cups cold water
ice cubes

1) Combine cherry gelatin with 1/2 cup of the sugar in medium bowl.
2) Add 1 cup boiling water; stir at least 2min(go longer until the sugar and gelatin are dissolved)
3) Add enough ice cubes to one cup of cold water to make two cups.
4)Add to gelatin; stir until ice is completely melted.
5) Pour evenly into 16 paper or plastic cups.
6) Putting about 1/4 cup of the gelatin in each cup
7) Freeze for 1hr... I would do longer

Repeat steps 1-7 for the Berry Blue Flavor Gelatin and put in fridge.

8) Once the Cherry part is done take the cups out
9) Spoon about 3TBSP of the whipping top over the red gelatin in each cup, evenly

Freeze that for about an 1hr or more until topping is somewhat hardened.

10) Once the topping is done pour the Berry Blue over top the whipping topping about 1/4cup
11) Freeze for about an hr or more then insert wooden pop sticks or plastic spoons into center of each cup for a handle.
12) Freeze for another 4hrs or overnight.

To Remove from cups place bottoms of cups under warm running water for 15secs. Press firmly on bottoms of cups to release pops. Store leftover pops in freezer.
