Halloween Sugar Cookies w/ Butter Frosting

Make Something Monday

These were fun to make especially with my 3 year old.

What you'll need:

6.Baking Soda
8.Cookie Cutters

For the frosting:
1.powdered sugar
2.soft butter

Mix one-three cups of sugar, 3/4 cup shortening, 2 eggs, 1tsp vanilla, 1tsp baking soda, 1tsp salt, and 2 1/2 cups flour together until all dry is moist. Bake at 400 for 6 to 8 minutes. Then mix 3 cups of powder sugar, 1/3 cup soft butter, 1 1/2tsp vanilla, and 2Tbsp milk together. Use food coloring to make your colors. Go by directions on the box to get the right amount of color. We did orange, green, red, and purple.
